I studied French & Japanese in school. I'm currently studying Chinese and trying to polish up Japanese.

I tried to learn Korean, but it's totally unreadable to me, for reasons unknown.

The native language of the main character, elements of which specifically written for the books. It's not a language of Earth, however I used basic elements of languages I've heard or studied.

For the main character's language, I wanted an arabic or egyptian feel to the spoken element (which might be why it looked familiar but non sensible to you ) of it, and a radical+ ideographic feel to the written element. I was supposed to include the title in Rhoyan text (that's the language's name) in the cover art, but didn't really have time to sprawl it out and make some to include.

I wrote elements of the 2 or 3 languages that are heard most, as I feel this lends some authenticity to a truly science-fiction story.

Now watch me break down the title's name, according to the language it's in: "Mur"(myoor)= Tale, Story.

Al' (Ahl)= possessive prefix for individual nouns. Like an 's only prepositional and for nouns that describe an individual unit.It can also be considered a possessive "of". Probably easy to think of it that way since it's written between the noun and the object it possesses, somewhat like of is used in English.

There is also a possessive "Da'" prefix for collective nouns (nouns that are used as groups, institutions, more than one individual in association, or other collective terms).

As an example a word you wont find in this text but later in the book: Makh Da'Sheen, a title that refers to regular army.

Sheen (she-n)= Soldier, Fighter, Warrior, Combatant.

Together it makes Soldier's Tale.. or Tale of a Soldier. I titled it in the book's language because it makes a more interesting title than it's English translation.

I see I see . Well I thought of my possessive prefixes, actually after hearing the way arabic uses "al". I know its usually hyphenated like when I first heard it used to spell out Saddam husein's whole name (Saddam Hussein al-Tikriti), the al-Tikriti I gather being "of Tikrit", the place of his birth.

I designed it as a possessive, so I thought I'd smash it together with an apostrophe, the way English uses it. And bam. I have a authentic sounding language element.

When the original story was thought of, the only one I had was "Da'", as I hadn't titled the story yet.

That's a conflict that's followed people here since forever. The only thing I can say about it is that if Israel is destroyed, like it ends up in the bible, apparently, then it's because of their behavior up to date.

Nobody around them can do it, though. So I can't see how it'd even happen.

I dunno. I'm just wanting to see all the conflicts on this planet blow over or end already. I really don't care what countries end up gone. If the world's lines get redrawn I think that's better than them insinuating fighting and fighting half way for a long period of time, placing tons of lives at risk.

I'm sure alot of people are just sick of always hearing about israel and palestine.. north and south korea.. most of africa.

There doesn't seem to be an end to these conflicts and all that's happening are people dying in between.

Sooo if I ever do get around to the whole taking over Earth thing.. you can pretty much expect an abrupt end to all those conflicts .
